Shah Rukh Khan does full justice to the regal sherwani as he walks for Mijwan Summer 2017

The moment is finally here. Fans of Shah Rukh Khan are giving collective sighs as the superstar has finally walked the ramp for Mijwan Summer 2017. We showed pictures of him rehearsing some time back and now he has finally walked in a black printed sherwani with matching bottoms. While we see him in black on most occasions, Shah Rukh does rock ethnic wear whenever he wears it. He was the showstopper for the occasion along with Anushka Sharma. Frankly, his look reminds us of what he sported in Raees and the famous Yeh Ladka Hai Allah song from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.

We saw snaps of SRK rehearsing in a black top and military pants minutes back but in a few minutes he has transformed into a regal handsome man. It seems the crowd went mad on seeing Shah Rukh Khan. There were cheers all around. Anushka Sharma also looked resplendent in a white lehenga. Manish Malhotra looked extremely thrilled to bring the show to this conclusion. Celebrities like Sridevi, Huma Qureshi, Diana Penty, Konkona Sen Sharma, Rahul Bose, Sushmita Sen and others have graced the grand fashion show. It is happening at a five-star in the suburbs.

The Mijwan Fashion event is held annually to raise money for the development of craftswomen under Shabana Azmi’s NGO Mijwan Welfare Society. Shabana Azmi told IANS, ” We’ve had the fortune of all the stars walking for us — right from Amitabh Bachchan to Sidharth Malhotra. The only person left was Shah Rukh. I am extremely thankful to him for having agreed to walk the ramp for Mijwan… Anushka Sharma is someone I consider a part of Mijwan family. She has very graciously walked for us earlier.”
